Dark Hints Reviews is the sister blog to On Top Down Under Book Reviews, which is in its 7th year of reviewing. This blog is separate and will concentrate on more edgier, grittier books with overtones or undertones of darkness, shades-of-grey characters, fictional psychological reading, and twists or turns within a story or book. Sometimes the unusual. Our blog was borne out of a need to provide a reading theme primarily within genre fiction while also providing an inclusive reviewing space.
From paranormal to murder/mystery, urban fantasy to romance, sci-fi to historical, horror to speculative fiction, and all points in between, as long as the book straddles dark notes and themes in some way, we will be reviewing it at Dark Hints Reviews.

Before submitting a book to be reviewed, please read the following –
- Because a book is submitted or accepted it does not guarantee a review.
- Please read the different reviewers preferences which can be found on their individual bio because once you request a reviewer they will be the only person deciding to read the book.
- Piracy and illegal book distribution is abhorrent to us. ARC/review copies have always been, and will always remain, safe with our reviewers.
